F1 telemetry

Compare any drivers on any lap of any session since 2018: speed, throttle, brake, gear and RPM through every corner, the delta line that shows where the time went, and the track painted in the colour of whoever was quicker.

How to read a comparison

What it compares

Pick a season, Grand Prix and session and the comparison opens on the two quickest drivers’ fastest laps. Change either driver, add more, or pick any lap from the lap table to put a qualifying run beside a race lap.

The traces

Speed, throttle, brake, gear and RPM are drawn against distance round the lap, so the drivers line up corner by corner. The delta line adds up the gap as the lap goes on: a rising delta loses time and a falling one gains it, and its steepest stretches are the corners that decided the lap.

Track dominance and sectors

Track dominance paints each mini-sector in the colour of whoever was quicker there. Sectors shows the three timed sectors instead, with every driver’s sector times and the quickest in purple.

Laps, pace and Race Engineer

The lap table lists every lap with its sector times and tyre: purple marks the session’s fastest lap and green each driver’s best. In a race, Race pace and Position changes show how it unfolded, and Race Engineer answers questions about the session from the same laps and telemetry.
